I heard a story about an anointed sister pissing and moaning about fragrances in the KH. She got nasty with the fragrance-wearing sister and her kids.....with leaders like that in the new system who needs life?

Could i possily be one of the sealed?
by msconcerned ini went to the meeting last night, (with the start of a beard) and going throught he book study i had a thought.
god our "heavenly father" wants us to have a personal relationship with him because he is love.
well my brain disconnected from this thinking because if the bible was "written primarily for the anointed" and the benefits in the bible can only be mine because of "association" with the anointed, then i can never have a personal relationship with god or jesus.

Then i ecame a JW and was extremely judgmental but tried to disguise it with that agape-love stuff....Now that Ive awakened i again realize its non of my business to Judge anyone for how they were born and what tendencies they have.....thanks for the post Super Boy.

Hey guys this is so important. My great uncle on my dads side and uncle on me moms side is gay....however until recently ithought gays (i hope this is the proper vernacular, if not please tell me) had a choice for we all have fleshly desires. But it has come to my attemtion that Gay is genetic. i watched a commwrcial about an adhd drug that causes female boobs, lactation, etc in men.....it struck me. 1) homosexuity is genetic. 2) i know we have oure own fleshly desires to follow but lets face it there are worse thinfs than gays loving those of the same sex......so yeah
Fuck anthony Morris III homophobic....sorry 'bout the "F" word.

Last part on this thread but more to come--From Captives of a concept:
O NE of the things that keeps Jehovah’s Witnesses con- vinced that the Watchtower Society is God’s organiza- tion is the fact that no matter where they live on earth they all believe the same. But the question is, Why do they have their “unity of belief”? They will answer this question the same way the July 15, 1996 Watchtower answers it...
But this too is just an illusion. The real reason why they all “speak in agreement” can be seen by looking at their teachings that have changed, such as those mentioned in Chapter 3. What Witnesses don’t notice is that they have always had this same unity of belief even when the Soci- ety’s teachings have not been based on the Bible. 142 This means that there must be another fundamental reason why they all believe the same.
One of the times this reason showed up was in a court case in Scotland in 1954. Although this example has to do with just one of their former teachings, the principle that came out of that trial applies to all their teachings whether they have ever changed or not.
The Walsh Court Case
During that trial former Vice President Hayden Coving- ton 143 was being questioned about the Society’s former
Since our beliefs are based on God’s Word, all of us speak in agreement.
teaching that Jesus had returned in 1874 to begin his Sec- ond Coming. Note carefully the reason he gave as to why Jehovah’s Witnesses had unity of belief about that teaching even though it was not true and therefore had not been based on the Bible...
Q: It was promulgated as a matter which must [have been] believed by all members of Jehovah’s Witnesses that the Lord’s Second Com- ing took place in 1874...? A: It was a false statement or an erroneous statement in fulfillment of a prophecy that was false or erroneous.
Q: And that had to be believed by the whole of Jehovah’s Witnesses? A: Yes, because you must understand we must have unity ... Q: Back to the point now. A false prophecy was promulgated? A: I agree to that. 144
Q: It had to be accepted by Jehovah’s Witnesses? A: That is correct. Q: If a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses took the view himself that that prophecy was wrong and said so, he would be disfellowshipped? A: Yes ... Our purpose is to have unity. Q: Unity at all costs? A: Unity at all costs... Q: A unity based upon an enforced acceptance of false prophecy? A: That is conceded to be true . 145
There was no suggestion that their unity of belief on this subject was because it was based on the Bible. Covington knew that if it was the Society would still be teaching it in 1954 just as they would still be teaching it today. The rea- son he ultimately had to concede was that their unity of be- lief was “based on enforced acceptance.” Witnesses were forced to either (1) accept that admitted “false prophecy” so the Society could maintain its “unity at all costs” or else (2) be disfellowshipped so the Society could maintain it.
In order to see that this is still the reality today, the fol- lowing example will deal with their more recent former teaching that the generation of 1914 would not pass away before the “new world” will be here.
So the boik then goes on to point out excellent examples of hypocrisy but alarmingly, how Jehovajs followers follow ideas that now are acceptable but ten, twenty, thirty years ago, have rejected....point blank like Captuves says: it diesnt matter if the doctrine is true or false bit rather if the GB teaches if its ture...peruod. To stray is to alienate and apostacise from "the truth". So my flow friends, what do u make of it? Do witnesses foklow God or what men say God says?

Genome of Longest-Living Cancer: 11,000-Year-Old Living Dog Cancer Reveals Its Origin, Evolution
Jan. 23, 2014 — A cancer normally lives and dies with a person, however this is not the case with a sexually transmitted cancer in dogs. In a study published in Science, researchers have described the genome and evolution of this cancer that has continued living within the dog population for the past 11,000 years.
Scientists have sequenced the genome of the world's oldest continuously surviving cancer, a transmissible genital cancer that affects dogs. This cancer, which causes grotesque genital tumors in dogs around the world, first arose in a single dog that lived about 11,000 years ago. The cancer survived after the death of this dog by the transfer of its cancer cells to other dogs during mating.
The genome of this 11,000-year-old cancer carries about two million mutations -- many more mutations than are found in most human cancers, the majority of which have between 1,000 and 5,000 mutations. The team used one type of mutation, known to accumulate steadily over time as a "molecular clock," to estimate that the cancer first arose 11,000 years ago.
"The genome of this remarkable long-lived cancer has demonstrated that, given the right conditions, cancers can continue to survive for more than 10,000 years despite the accumulation of millions of mutations," says Dr Elizabeth Murchison, first author from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge.
The genome of the transmissible dog cancer still harbors the genetic variants of the individual dog that first gave rise to the cancer 11,000 years ago. Analysis of these genetic variants revealed that this dog may have resembled an Alaskan Malamute or Husky. It probably had a short, straight coat that was colored either grey/brown or black. Its genetic sequence could not determine if this dog was a male or a female, but did indicate that it was a relatively inbred individual.
"We do not know why this particular individual gave rise to a transmissible cancer," says Dr Murchison, "But it is fascinating to look back in time and reconstruct the identity of this ancient dog whose genome is still alive today in the cells of the cancer that it spawned."
Transmissible dog cancer is a common disease found in dogs around the world today. The genome sequence has helped scientists to further understand how this disease has spread.
"The patterns of genetic variants in tumors from different continents suggested that the cancer existed in one isolated population of dogs for most of its history," says Dr Murchison. "It spread around the world within the last 500 years, possibly carried by dogs accompanying seafarers on their global explorations during the dawn of the age of exploration."
Transmissible cancers are extremely rare in nature. Cancers, in humans and animals, arise when a single cell in the body acquires mutations that cause it to produce more copies of itself. Cancer cells often spread to different parts of the body in a process known as metastasis. However, it is very rare for cancer cells to leave the bodies of their original hosts and to spread to other individuals. Apart from the dog transmissible cancer, the only other known naturally occurring transmissible cancer is an aggressive transmissible facial cancer in Tasmanian devils that is spread by biting.
"The genome of the transmissible dog cancer will help us to understand the processes that allow cancers to become transmissible," says Professor Sir Mike Stratton, senior author and Director of the Sanger Institute. "Although transmissible cancers are very rare, we should be prepared in case such a disease emerged in humans or other animals. Furthermore, studying the evolution of this ancient cancer can help us to understand factors driving cancer evolution more generally."
Just sayin....

Second point:
Techniques that WT say the propagandist uses...let me know if you can spot the hypocrisy:
1. From Awake: "Some people insult thise who disagree with them by questioning...Motives instead of focusing on the facts."
And yet this is exactly what the Governing Body does in their March 15, 1986 Watchtower where they are referring to “those who disagree with them”.
"Some opposers claim that Jehovah’s Witnesses are false prophets. These opponents say that dates have been set, but nothing has happened. Again we ask, What is the motive of these critics? -p. 19
2. Name Calling:
In the above March 15, 1986 Watchtower the Governing Body “slaps” those who disagree with them with the nega- tive labels— opposers , opponents and critics . In that same article they repeatedly use their all-time favorite nega- tive, easy-to-remember label— apostate . This latter label really sticks because it convinces Jehovah’s Witnesses to “reject the person or the idea on the basis of this negative label instead of weighing the evidence for themselves.”
Note their powerful propaganda in the same article that “agitates the emotions” and is obviously not designed to en- courage Witnesses to weigh any evidence for themselves...
"Name-calling slaps a negative, easy-to-remember label onto a person, a group, or an idea. The name- caller hopes that the label will stick. If people reject the person or the idea on the basis of the negative label instead of weighing the evidence for themselves, the name-caller’s strategy has worked."
"The Devil and other opposers of true worship are skilled in deception . We should never forget that they stand every ready to break our integrity if they can. Their propaganda is designed to weaken our faith , to cool our love for God... The only sat- isfaction, of a perverted kind , may come in be- ginning to beat one’s fellow slaves with slander and half-truths.... At Proverbs 11:9 we are told, “By the mouth of the one who is an apostate brings his fellowman to ruin .”...Therefore, resolve in your heart that you will never even touch the poison that apostates want you to sip. Heed the wise but firm commands of Jehovah to avoid completely those who would deceive you, mislead you , turn you aside into the ways of death . If we love Jehovah with our whole heart, soul, and mind, while loving our neighbor as we love ourselves, we will have no room for penetration by apostate thinking.
128 March 15, 1986 Watchtower , page 14. When the Society exposes other religions they say that it is “in imi- tation of Christ.” But when others do the same thing to them it is ‘in imitation of Satan.’ - See Proclaimers book page 122
And if all the above isn’t enough to convince Jehovah’s Witnesses not to read anything about the Society that isn’t written by the Society, 130 they liken whatever “apostates” want them to look at to “pornographic material” that would result in “spiritual fornication.” 131 And, as they always do, they bring in their biggest ‘Gun’ of all...
When a fellow human tells us, ‘Do not read this’ or, ‘Do not listen to that,’ we may be tempted to ignore his advice. But remember, in this case Jehovah is the One who tells us in his Word what to do . And what does he say about apostates ? “Avoid them.”
This may not be enough to debate with elders on but i thought it to be excellent tools in the tool kit for conversation and planting ideas.
the Next and last point i found today is the Chapter on Jehovahs witnesses and how to get around the whole "wherever we go we learn and act the same" thing they ise to justify why they are Gods Org....
